There are several ways to recognize networks that may not be the kind that you would like to work with. Below are a few I look for along with a brief example of them.

The very first thing I do is look at their site. You can tell a lot from a company’s website. I look at the tabs or internal links and read everything I am able. How is their ranking and Alexa ranking? These are very important to a company.

I also look at the whois, not to see who the owner is but to see who it is hosted on. Along with the age of the domain.

One very important sign that a company doesn’t maintain or pay attention to their website is their copyright notice. You would not believe how many networks I have seen that have an expired copyright on their page. This is a bad sign. It means that they have not taken the time to pay attention to the details.

As you read on the forums and Affiliate sites, are these networks active on them? Are they knowledgeable in marketing? Do they mind answering questions for members? The reason I look for this is because if these networks are not helpful or answer questions on these sites then they will never be helpful to me as an affiliate.

As I find post and do research on the company I look and read all of their post. I look at their user names on forums then I look up their posts on the forums. I look for any posts or replies that could be questionable. A great example is I was looking up a network in Google search, I found a lot of references to the network on forums, I started reading the post. Through these posts I found one of the ids that were apparently the owner to the network. I then looked up that user’s posts.

What I found was very interesting, I found a post on how to cookie stuff and ewhore. Now I am not saying this is bad but if a network is willing to tell you how to fraud their advertisers wouldn’t that worry you, would me. This also concerns me on how honest that network will be towards me.

Hello again. I was reading recent post about the industry. And I came across a few networks claiming to have visited or attended the ASW11. I get so tired of these networks trying to make it sound like they are attending functions and they are not.

These networks that make these false claims will more than likely never attend. This means that they will not ever gain the knowledge or benefits of attending these great functions. The sad thing is that anybody that has not attended an ASW or an industry show would not have a clue as to the clues that alert us to the want to be attendees.

For the record, you do not have to have a booth or host a huge party to claim that your network was at a show, but what you do have to know is details about the show that only attendees would know.

Copeac was a very solid network for a very long time. The FTC really put a hurt on Copeac when they filed a civil suit against them. Once the United States government starts asking questions you mine as well close your doors and say good bye!

Mike has been a solid figure for a long time in the affiliate industry. We have heard rumors that Copeac is opening another network. We don’t know but we will keep you posted as more information develops.

One thing that is bothering us about the whole Copeac shutting the doors is that they didn’t tell any of the affiliates. On the forums a lot of guys are saying that they have not been paid out for a few months. We have not confirmed that this has in fact happened but it has been said and posted on numerous marketing forums. The affiliates that kept sending traffic to Copeac lost on their traffic.

Copeac/Mike, if you are opening a new network pay these pubs the minute that you can! They have families also. Once again we have not confirmed these allegations as of yet.

This blog is dedicated to all of the marketers out there trying to make an honest living online. We will state nothing but the truth to our readers. Affiliate marketers are the key to about 90% of the revenue online. We need to become united and stand together as one.

You may read things on this blog that you will not like, sorry it is the way we feel. If you have an article or story you would like us to post for all to read then please feel free to send it to us.

I will say that I have no patient for gurus. Most gurus will not show their stats, if they do show them they are edited and not true. Guru’s try to sale you, their secrete, to great wealth and online success! Let me ask you a very important question, would you sell the secrete to a technique that is making you money hand over fist? You would be a fool to sale it or even tell anybody.

If you have a network that you feel is cheating you then please let us know. Write up a little article, send it to us. We will post it and contact the network for a response. This will be 100% unbiased, unlike a lot of other websites out there!

Here we will attempt to debunk some of these crazy guru posts. Let us know if you have any issues you would like us to investigate.
